SYDNEY CITY GUIDE: Jai Kaldor

Profession/title: Senior Talent Manager

@jaikaldorr

Tell us a little about yourself — what do you do, and what does a typical day look like?

I’m a full time Senior Talent Manager, so a typical working day for me starts at 5:25am, Gym at 6, pop home and get ready for work, walk to work with Silas (takes an hour so he gets his walkies in too), reply to 1000’s of emails, have a couple of meetings, walk another hour home, hot hot shower, Greys Anatomy with snacks (parmesan and olives), kiss the boyfriend, cuddle the dog and snooze.

My weekends are solely dedicated to ensuring Silas is the happiest, most loved dog on the planet.

How would you describe your personal style?

Uncomplicated, comfortable, refined and no frills.

What are your current wardrobe essentials — the pieces you reach for on repeat?

My Maison Essentiele silk pants from 2018 or something haha. I live in them. It’s a constant rotation of a classic tailored pants or the perfect pair of jeans, mixed with a 90’s cut tshirt, leather loafers/ballet flats and a statement leather bag.

What pieces are you loving from MAISON ESSENTIELE right now?

The Silk Short, they’re so comfortable and an elevated wardrobe staple. Super cute with knee high boots or ballet flats. I’m also in love with the Mini Knit Short with the Knit Baby Tee, so chic and classic. And the black Cowhide jacket, we all know how I feel about that piece!

What’s your go-to Sydney neighborhood and why?

Ooo this is tough. As it’s winter, I’d say Potts Point at the moment, it’s within walking distance from my house and has everything I need in one spot. Come summer I’m back by Tamarama though.
